Staging Consultation

This Staging Consultation is an opportunity to see your listing first hand. It’s time to move through the space through the eye of the buyer and provide suggestions for increasing the value of that ever important first impression.

While the benefits of having a home staged and ready to put on the market are widely known, it can be a sticky situation for you to address these areas for improvement with your clients… let us be the buffer :) We'll work together to get the best outcome for you and your client in a kind and educational manner. There's a lot of emotion attached to the "things" in a home, we'll help edit with empathy.

This appointment is great for the diy-er who's going to take these suggestions and run with them or determining our next steps for improving the listing together.

What to Expect

We’ll start with a tour of the listing. We'll walk through together (with your client) and talk about the opportunities for improvement.

Typical suggestions provided:

  • Layout adjustments
  • Paint recommendations
  • Organization/Cleaning
  • Decluttering opportunities
  • How to envision the space as the buyer's (removing personalization)
  • Decor updates and tweaks
  • Small change, big impact opportunities
  • Lighting adjustments

Next steps for this appointment would be following the suggestions provided* or scheduling a staging session that we'll design specifically for your project. We'll utilize the existing items and bring in additions based on the desired investment to ensure the property is ready to attract buyers.

Consultations to the trade are up to 90 minutes (additional time available for larger scale projects). Travel for In-listing visits within 30 minutes of Westwood, NJ included and Virtually- anywhere! Virtual consultations begin with an additional questionnaire and we’ll ask you to submit photos prior to our “visit”.

*You'll be provided with a summary within 48 hours of our walk through.

FAQ

1. Can I use this for Open Houses or with buyers? Yes you can! We can go through your listing with your client or I can be "on premise" for selling the possibilities of the property. This appointment is under the Buyer Consultation

2. Can the consultation be online? We can easily schedule a virtual consultation.

3. What if I need more time? Absolutely! Additional time will be available at your trade only rate of $129/ hr.

4. Can I reschedule my time? Yes you can. While consultations are non-refundable, there is no fee for canceling or rescheduling with 24 hour notice.
